Onboarding

A short voice chat to get started. Dafa will begin with one simple prompt: “Tell Dafa what you enjoy.”

Your invitation

A group card with the plan in full, for example: Friday five-a-side · 8 players · Arabic · up to EGP 150 · smoke-free · partner pitch, 6th of October. One line will say why you were matched: “You both play on Fridays.”

Check-in

At the venue, you will scan its QR code and do a two-second face check. Then: “You’re in.”

How it will work

From something you enjoy to people you meet, at a place you can trust.

    Tell Dafa what you enjoy.

    Start with a short voice chat about the things you love doing.

    Get invited to a small group.

    Dafa will match you by shared interests and send you an invitation with the full plan and the reason it picked you.

    Meet at a vetted public venue.

    Groups will meet at public venues, each one vetted first. You will check in at the door with the venue’s QR code.

    Keep it going with skill circles.

    Skill circles will help your group keep meeting, and keep learning together.

Every member will be verified, by an ID and liveness check or in person.

Women hosts for women-only events

Women-only events will be hosted by verified women.

Groups in public venues

Groups of four or more will meet at public venues.

No messages between strangers

There will be no messages between strangers.

Not a dating app

Dafa will not be a dating app.

Member data will stay in Egypt.

    Members will choose the language, budget and atmosphere of their outings.

  • No sorting by background

    Dafa will never sort people by background.

  • Access features, checked on site

    Members will filter events by venue access features that staff verify on site, so no one has to disclose a disability.

  • Inclusive circles, designed together

    Inclusive circles will be co-designed with disability associations.
