Mogtama3 (مجتمع, “community”) is the social arm of HAiCapita. We put technology in the service of community, starting in Egypt and growing across the Middle East and North Africa.

  • The name

    مجتمع

    Our name is the Arabic word مجتمع, “community”, written in Latin letters.

  • The 3

    The 3 stands for the Arabic letter ع. It is gold, like the “Ai” in HAiCapita, and the final ع of مجتمع is gold too.

  • The symbol

    A ring of small dots, people sitting in a circle, around HAiCapita’s gold dot at the centre.

Why HAiCapita created Mogtama3

HAiCapita builds AI-native governance, risk and cybersecurity technology. Mogtama3 puts the same people and expertise to work for society.

Five rules apply to every programme, every event and every form we run.

Privacy by design and accessibility by design

We build privacy and accessibility in from the start, not on at the end. Every form collects only what it needs, and no form ever asks about a disability or a diagnosis.

A person decides anything that affects a person

Technology can support our work, but any decision that affects a person is made by a person.
